                           About this Course





                   Learn basic Unix commands using the popular Linux
version of Unix. 

                   The Intro to Unix course introduces the beginning
student to the Linux version of the Unix operating
                   system. 

                   In this course, students learn fundamentals of the
Unix operating system as well as how to install
                   Red Hat''s version of Linux, v 5.2.

                   Continuing Education Units (CEUs): 4

                   The following are required for successful completion
of this course. (Students who do not have
                   the following materials are encouraged to audit the

                   This is the required textbook for this course. You

                   SOFTWARE:
                      Red Hat Linux v 5.2 (or later ) Korn Shell

                   PREREQUISITES:
