whew.....

I thought for a minute or two that I missed something there. I've never
seen any references to assigning the hostname and localhost to the same IP
address. Since I've experiencing some problems sending mail over the local
network, but not via the internet, though maybe that was a simple reason
why, and I missed it.

Glad that's not the case...
