Perhaps Bernhard can help me with this problem (or anyone else). I have had
basically little problem installing Mandrake 5.3 or RedHat 6.0, but things
go wrong with Mandrake 6.0 (Venus ) installation. I get through the basic
questions about keyboard type and installing from harddisk up to the
location of the Mandrake files. From there it says loading RAMdisk, then I
get the message 'Error loading RAMdisk' and the installation halts. I have
tried using the updated boot.img and even RedHat 6.0's boot.img to no avail.
Does anyone know the reason for this error? Is there a way around it, or
do I need to wait for another updated boot.img?
