It seems from this list that several people have had trouble getting Venus to boot, myself included. The problem seems to stem from LM6s hard drive optimization routine. Is it possible to provide a revised initscript with that part commented out? A note could be added telling users how to change it back (at their own risk, of course) Also, because the init script is such an important file, could the revised version be substituted in the Mandrake RPMS file list as well as being placed in the /updates directory. Speaking of that, why not place ALL the updated files into the RPMS list. I don't know anything about ISO files, but they should also be refreshed if possible.
