To answer all of you who have been asking about the transperent terms,
it is most likely(and is in my case) a program called ETerm...

goto the e.themes.org download section to find it.

I'm using it with GNOME and it works great...  Gnome Terminal has an opti
for transparency, but it seems to be pretty. buggy.
