Subject: [newbie] mounting a floppy??

I downloaded some utilities on my win98 machine, and want to transfer them
over to my linux machine, but when I put the disk in the drive and click on
the icon, it says:

could not mount
error log:

mount you must specify the filesystem type

Can anyone help me with this??

Thanks in advance!

Even better, why go through all of that when you can download the files to
your Windows partition then mount that partition when you are in linux. If
it is a tar or RPM, you can still install it from the Windows partition, or
transfer it to the linux partition.
