At the command line type "setup", then on the menu choose Xconfigurator and
follow the on screen instructions.   Let the card be auto probed and choose
your monitor from the list if possible  and then you need to check the
boxes next to the resolutions and color-depths you want to use (e.g.
800x600 16-bit).  You are probably currently on 640x480 or 320x480 or
somesuch.
