My contact details are all in a .vcf file read by Gnome-card. This gives an easy to read display, and all was well until I wanted to amend a record. When I saved the file I found that it would not read the new version. I had to rename the backup file and load it unaltered.
I am at a loss as to what may be causing this. The fact that the file is written seems to rule out permission problems. Any ideas, anyone? Anne
