if the question is"in dos I would have put this batch file script in 
autoexec.bat to get it loaded each boot, is there something like that for 
linux?" then the answer would be  to edit /etc/rc.d/rc.local
and include the line towards the end, insuring the end of line is " &" to be 
sure the console is returned after your script
