I think I almost have winbind working, I now get secret is good
(instead of bad).
passwd: and group: work as does wbinfo -u etc.
couple of things I'm not sure of tho....my login screen now hah icons
for all domain users ('bout 600) which I dont really want.
The main part of the configuration that I am confused with is where it
says:
'In /etc/pam.d/* replace the auth lines with something like'.........
does that mean to replace those lines in each of the files in pam.d ?
I don't want local users to be authenticated with winbind, just want
to use it for .htaccess and others from the nt network.
I have read all the docs I could find, but am making very slow
progress..
