Although making the changes will not "lose" any data, I suspect you will have quite a number of problems booting. Almost all OS's assign drive names in a particular order. The boot loader depends on these drive names pointing to the "correct" drive. The configuration changes you considering will probably change the drive names for all the OS's on your system and thereby confuse the boot loader.
It is possible to fix these problems, but one would have to know what you are using for booting.
