Having looked through the update disk I can see a number of things that I would like to update, hoping that it would fix problems, but the whole thing looks really scarey.
I mean, if I break one app that's not too bad. A little time lost, but I'll soon be up and running (fingers crossed), but talking about updating the kernel is a different cup of tea. If I break that I've had it. Just how risky is this? I presume it's necessary before doing any of the rest? Anne
