No idea about that other than it smacks of a hardware or driver issue. I use the XFree driver for Linux, but I boot W98 every now and then to fly airplanes. The latest nVidia Winsux drivers (40.71) put their Linux efforts to shame. Always have, 'course M$ is behind that deal.
