[newbie] libstdc++ deps

error: failed dependencies:
        libstdc++.so.4(GLIBCPP_3.1)   is needed by audacity-1.0.0-3mdk

This is on a fresh install of 9.0, and I have the regular ol'
libstdc++.so.4 dep taken care of.  several google searches yield nothing

WTF are these libs???
