Whoops! Yep... just found the manual, but I was having a bit of trouble navigating around the GUI until I got the mouse working! Thanks very much for that incredibly useful post! All the configuration controls for the system are in there. To configure the KDE desktop there is KDE Control Centre which is the 4th icon from the left in the bottom corner of your screen.
