I think I have found out what was causing the above mentioned erratic behaviour from Konsole. I also just experienced some mouse errors while trying to use Blackbox. This all started to occur just after I had anabled DMA for my hard drive.......coincidence? I don't think so. I have disabled DMA, and everything seems to be back to normal. I have DMA enabled in my winME system that I am dual-booting, and it doesn't seem to be causing undue difficulty there, (or is it?) :-/ Go figure. I have learned something!
