libaudiofile.so.0 is simply a symbolic link that points to the main libaudiofile library. My version points to libaudiofile.so.0.0.2 (yours might be different...you didn't specify) in the /usr/lib directory. If you have the library, but somehow the link is not there, then you can create it as root; ln -s libaudiofile.so.0.0.2 /usr/lib/libaudiofile.so.0 These files are part of libaudiofile0-0.2.3-3mdk in mdk9 Robin
