Greetinz, I recently installed Mandrake 6.0 on my laptop. Yet I have a problem with my sound card. The ESS1688 is supposed to be supported, yet I get sound in a strange way. Every sound gets played twice, the first instance interrupted by the second. This is like an echo effect. Anybody have clue?
