My Soundcard is not being recognized. It's built into the motherboard of a Compaq Presario. ESS1888. How do I get Linux to recognize the soundcard? Also, how do you find out what the settings should be for I/O Port, IRQ, DMA, & MPU I/O ? Regards, Seve
