[newbie] disable Flash?

A few days ago I installed Mozilla-xft 1.2.1 from Texstar's RPMs. It includes Java, Flash beta plugin & realplayer plugin. Works great, but does anyone know of an easy way to disable Flash for the 99% of the time I don't want it? I have popups and most ads blocked by Mozilla and life is good...except for those annoying Flash ads.
