Tried to install M9.0. Hung up at package install stage. Noticed in the boot up that script called for "needs ide-cd" and a couple of steps later the "Warning: insmod failed (ide-cd (null)). Changed CD Roms. No difference.
Tried M8.2. No warning about ide-cd. It found it. I am using a Tyan S1598 Trinity ATX MB with an AMD K62 MHz CPU. 1999 version. I have 128 Megs of RAM that tested good with memtest. Any suggestions? Gary
