Have sort of sorted out a dual PC, 1 dual boot linux and Win and the other linux, connection problems.
Both are networked together and provided I am using linux on both machines I get positive feedback from the ping command. On checking the hostname on both machines I can confirm there are no errors there. However if the dualboot system is booted into Win95 and the other box into linux I then cannot access the Windows hard drive. I am thinking that as they both have the same subnet and IP's are 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 perhaps the workgroup 'feature' on Windows is playing a role.
