I did download the tar file (in www.linuxtv.org/download/dvd/dvd_disc_20000215_css.tar.gz) and extract the files.
When I try to do to "make" the file, below listed error occure:

gcc -Wall -g -o dvd_disc_.o -c dvd_disc.c
make: gcc: Command not found
make: *** [dvd_disc_.o] Error 127
[root@localhost dvd_disc_20000215_css]#
