Slackware 3.6 would be perfect on this box - nothing flash, nothing
over-done. Fast - because the release was literally made for this type
of machine, and the Xwindows intervface is the OpenWindows - so it would
look similar to Fvwm...

IMHO....and I just put one together to use as a router/firewall/mail
server...but I was lucky enough to have 32mb of RAM and an extra 6gb HD
as well...
