Cat 5 cables are pretty standard. Any store that sells hubs, should also carry them.
There are no adapters to be concerned with. One end of the cable goes into a nick, the other end into the hub. Now with your firewall, one nic is going to be connected to the dls/cable modem, but you'll need a second nic (and cable) to go from the firewall to the hub. If you plan to use only one nic in the firewall, you'll have what's known as a 'one arm firewall'. It would require a second IP on the nic, and is a more complex setup.
