Or on TV or in a newspaper or in a magazine etc ad nauseum. Seen very many
"video news articles" on CNN and other "news networks" lately about what
"internet piracy" has done to the music and movie industries? If buy a
CD/tape/DVD/ what I do to enjoy it after the fact is none of their damned
business AFAIAC.

What's the going rate for a Microsoft RIAss shill? I want some too! ;-)

This kind of crap is the reason I won't log into ZDNet or most newspaper's and
magazines websites unless someone sends me a link to an article. ZD was bad
enough before the CNet takeover, but they've steadily worsened since in my
opinion.

Unfortunately Lanman is correct. The "average person" seems to be laboring
under the mistaken impression; "I read it in a news article/saw it on a news
broadcast saw it on a "Tech News" website so it must be so."

Hint: Who owns the most advertising dollars J. Q. Public?

Horse puckies!
