It seems to work.
Now I will have to try with a "trusted certificate" to see if I will avoid the warnings I get on my client browsers.

Best regards > > /stefano You'll find the instructions for creating your own server certificate at http://www.apache-ssl.org/#FAQ under "Now I've got my server installed, how do I create a test certificate?" I tried restarting apache with # apachectl graceful and then opening my browser but it didn't work and I had to reboot - then all was well. I'm sure there is something else to restart to avoid rebooting but I don't know what - hopefully someone else can tell us? HTH Cheers Sharrea
