Subject: [newbie] after installing 6.1..

Hi,

after installing mandrake 6.1 (fresh install), I am unable to telnet in
remotely. The
socket connects but after 3 seconds (and no login prompt) the client is
disconnected.
hosts.deny is empty. Is there something I'm missing here?

thanks,
