As far as stability goes, I haven't seen much difference - what problems I had in OOo were also present in SO6. However, I have to say that the problems I experienced in SO6 seem to have disappeared since I installed the patch on Sun's site. Maybe there's a similar one on OOo's site? I haven't looked yet.
