Thanks, Charles. Actually I tried all of the above, but 
still got some errors from my script. Must be a bad 
script. Nevertheless, Patrick got his problem solved 
despite my attempt to help.

Now, on a lighter note : I followed Tom's advice and 
downloaded *urpmi.setup* from Cooker and installed it on 
my 9.0 box. - What a wonderful gadget !  Removing, 
changing and re-installing sources is now a piece of cake.
