How do I install a rpm package? In Debian I used "dpkg" for deb's, but obviously this doesn't work here. My experience with Debian was very short and upon discovering Mandrake, I soon changed.
dpgk and apt is superior in my opinion, anyway not as good as ports in FreeBSD, well, over to your actual question, become root and type: rpm -ivh <thepackagenamegoeshere>, (well rpm -i is the actual command however v makes that you see what happens) and pray ;o) /Anders
