Make sure you have a 'gdm.......rpm' installed. 'rpm -qa | grep -i gdm' if that doesn't return a gdm rpm, then there's one on your CD's. Then, as root, edit /etc/sysconfig/desktop and add a line, DISPLAYMANAGER=GDM (for some versions it might be =GNOME ,try GDM first) -- Tom Brinkman Corpus Christi, Texas
