You have a Winmodem, apparently. :( Take it back. :) Winmodems are the computing equivalent of $cientology E-meters - they have no parts :). You could of course install Mandrake, then get help ;). But seriously, a bit of using google provided this link: http://www.isi.edu/~weiye/system/guide/lucent_winmodem.html It's for redhat 7, but may still be of help. http://users.ox.ac.uk/~mert1313/ltmodem.html is a more general page. Mandrake 9.1 or cooker when it gets finalized to 9.2 may be a better starting point.
