All, On Sco Unixware (boo) we have a command called what which "Extract SCCS-version information from a file". I have been trying to Google but it does not let you search on what, to try to find this command in Linux (to move off of Sco(yeah)). So far I have not been able to do this. The SCCS-version system seems to be the predecessor to CVS (I think, correct me if I am wrong) so it seems quite old (poss one for the old timers). I would like to find it though as we still use it to give program info. If anybody can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
