Well, I would 1st off recommend doing both, ie. reinstall ME (yucko
magnifico), and then do a clean install of MDK 9.1.

If you want to keep your 7.2, for whatever reason (?bandwidth?), create
a bootdisk in Mandrake Control Center, reinstall ME (shudder), then boot
from the bootdisk to access Mandrake. If you have a bootable MDK CD for
7.2, you could actually just use that, and when you boot from it, hit F1
and reinstall the bootloader, but I would still recommend creating the
rescue floppy *just in case* (he's a nice guy, you should meet him...).

Any second opinions? I am basing this on knowledge of MDK only from 8.1
onward...
