Well this looks to me to be one of the worst winmodems, one on a amr. my suggestion at this point is if you value your time at minimum wage, then go buy an external hardware modem. check e-bay. if you have determined that no matter what you intend to make this PITA work http://www.linmodems.org is your next stop.
