I'm not sure, but I would think that it is not a wise choice to mix distros.
Mandrake does some stuff it's own way, and so I would think does RedHat.
These are not the same distributions any more. I think that is why all the
Mandrake packages have the "mdk" in the filenames, just to remind us. <grin>
