Hi,

I have a Canon S200SP connected to this computer, which I can't get
working. It either prints double size or just whole pages of black,
depending on which model I tell printerdrake it is - and I've tried
several... I tried google, and came across my post to this list from
about six months ago!!!
So anyway, I thought to myself, stuff it, it works in windoze [without
the slightest effort...] so I'll just hang it off the laptop and print
through that.
heh heh...

But that means making this machine talk to the laptop [which is running
WIN2KPRO]. I ran "configure Samba" off the "what to do" menu and it
seemed to start up no trouble at all. The only thing is, I can't see
anything outside of Linux on this computer, and the laptop can't see
this computer either. Clearly, something hasn't been set up properly,
but where to begin looking? CTRL-ESC shows that Samba is running, but I
kinda think there should be some form of diagnostic output somewhere, if
only I knew what to look for, and where...

Any help, anyone?
[Even just a starting point, to get me going from there...]

TIA
