Just a couple of observations, and a question borne of my own curiosity.

Chris:

Observation one:
A reply to is almost never necessary and the reasons it isn't a good idea on a
mail list have been discussed ad nauseum here. Please lose it for list
postings? Thanks.

Observation two:
Freedom of speech is everyone's right, even if note codified in a National
Constitution. Especially around here it seems. Since I took D.L.'s/Ronald's
jibe as gentle humour, I didn't find it offencive at all. It seems that you
did, for that you have my sympathy for the apparent breakage of your humour
circuits.

The corollary to Dark Lord's, and everyone else's, right to free speech is the
right to ignore/not listen to/not read statements you don't like.

In light of previous statements, and exercising my own aforementioned rights
as a free citizen to ask a direct question;

Who pissed in your breakfast cereal?

May you be blessed with peace.

Charlie
