Hi, I set up a symbolic link to run StarOffice: ln -s /ash/progs/staroffice/net/bin/soffice /bin/staroffice I set up this link as root. When I issued 'staroffice' as a normal user, I got this message: /bin/staroffice: Can't reopen pipe to command substitution (fd 4): No child processes What does this message mean? StarOffice still opened up, and I was able to use it. Also, I am consistently able to crash StarOffice by activating the spell checker. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks, Hidong
