do a "uname -a". In the info that follows, you'll find the version of the kernel that you are currently running. You need to make sure that you have the kernel source installed for that version. If you're using the download edition, its NOT on the CD's and you'll have to download and install it. The RPM will have a name something like one of the following:

kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk.i586.rpm
kernel-source-2.4.22-21mdk.i586.rpm
kernel-source-2.4.22-22mdk.i586.rpm
