Linux did have some early problems iwth some wierd AMK K6-300's [or was it
K6-2 300s?], Since Mandrake is based on RedHat, I suggest you go to RedHat
HCL - Hardware Compatibility List and check it out. I read that there was
this problem a long time ago [days for me].
