Is there any way to test if your hardware is compatible with ACPI? It does not currently work on my box, and I don't want to bother upgrading my kernel if the problem is irreparable. Anyway, I have a: Compaq Presario 2190 US Notebook Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz Processor Radeon IGP 340m Graphics Card 40 GB Hard drive 256 MB RAM
