missing - it is on your site). When I try to download the latter, the
Rpmdrake protests it cannot due to unsatisfying package

It was a libtool issue which was causing libgimp to link to the wrong
lib.

Thank you Charles, for the occasion for trying out the newest version of GIMP. All is nice, but this error appeared during the first run:

(gimp-1.3:19018): Gimp-Config-CRITICAL **: file gimpconfigwriter.c: line 96 (gimp_config_writer_new_file): assertion `error == NULL || *error == NULL' failed
GIMP: Nie można otworzyć "/home/wojciech/.gimp-1.3/pluginrc" do odczytu: No such file or directory

It looks like GIMP's installer has still some bugs (and cannot create the pluginrc file).
PLUS, when I try to install gimp2-gap I get a message that it cannot be done due to a unsatisfactory package libgimpgui-1.3.so.24 :(

- PLF packages issue (they are not the newest ones and they force Rpmdrake to download the other required PLF packages from PLF
repository)

All my plf pkgs are newer than the actual plf rpms offered for 9.2.

I do not provides the dependency rpms if they are avaiable from an
existing 9.2 repository so it is normal that additional plf pkgs
are required just as other rpms might require pkgs from either main
or contrib.

Charles, mplayer from PLF is 1.0-0.pre3.11plf. Its latest change date back to 4th February. So I guess your version of mplayer is a few days older. ;)

I sincerely apologise form my misbehaviour. You are very generous man.
You contribute some of your excelent work to Linux community. I think your page and RPM repository is a great idea and it's well done. I am very sorry.

No problem. It was just one of those days for me, I overreacted and for that I, myself, apologize.

Charles

It looks like it's not one of my best days, either. Here are some reasons:
- I've got a flu
- TSG stock is still ridiculously high.
- colordiff is still not signed
- there lurks in your repository a mysterious empty k3b-dvd package
- my stomach hurts at the moment.

Hoping to be helpful and nice,
Wojciech Podgorni
PS. I my dreams your site changes to a great free software library for all to use. Let's see how it ends up in a year ;)
Charles, your site ROCKS!
