Unfortunately, GPDF doesn't handle some Adobe stuff very well.  One site I go 
to where I need to download forms in *.pdf has the forms formatted crossways 
across the page (in booklet form), and GPDF simply will not print these 
correctly.  The "real" Acrobat does fine with them, so it could be a printer 
setting in GPDF, but if it is I can't find it.

And to answer mcoady's question, yes Acroread 5.05 installed fine on 9.2 for 
me, via the tarball and the ./INSTALL script, so I can say that version 5 
works, anyway.
