HI
I downloaded Mandrake 10.0 yesterday from ftp://ftp.esat.net/pub/linux/mandrake-iso/i586/ it took about 5 hours to download the 3 iso files.

My question is
What Mandrake 9.2 directories should I make copies of before installing 10.0. (I want a complete install of 10.0 not upgrade.)

Well /home, of course, plus /etc if you have configuration stuff there you want to keep, and /opt and /usr/local if you've installed anything that places itself there (e.g. tarball installations of Mozilla, OpenOffice etc.).
