Just tried to play a game of checkers with firefox and it worked fine. I installed the jsdk1.4 from Sun two days ago, so my java plugin was here: j2sdk1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so and I put a link to it in here: /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox-0.8/plugins HTH -- Job Evers
