Boy do I feel dumb. I installed mdk on my mom's computer but I don't remember if it was 9.1 or 9.2. How would I find out? I tried uname -a but that doesn't tell the release number as far as I can tell.
Does anything come up on the splash screen at boot?
You could also check by looking at the version of just about any package you installed (the kernel being an obvious choice).
