Try the following:
From the command line run
file filename.bin
if it comes back with something like "a /bin/sh script text executable" then run
sh filename.bin
If it tells you something like "ELF 32-bit LSB executable" then change the executable state of the file first:
chmod +x filename.bin
and the run it:
./filename.bin
