I am going to be installing mandrake on an old machine (no bootable
cdrom) at work tomorrow. Problem: left the mandrake 10 (rc1) disks
there. Can I make a boot floppy from another version (say 10 beta 2, or
grab the one from the mirror for 10 final)? No high speed internet here
so I dont want to download the whole final version tonight. Should I
even be using 10 for an old machine (p133, will only be used to play
music with xmms using blackbox)? I have 8.2 and 7.2 laying around here
if they would be more appropriate. Thanks for the input.
